OUR GOAL

In today's culture there is a widespread disintegration of the family unit; drugs and alcohol are prolific; children and young women are being kidnapped into lives of sexual slavery; jobs are scarce for those without a basic education and proper training;  Many of our less fortunate brothers and sisters don't have access to a safe place to lay their heads at night where they can be assured of being alive the next morning; their meager belongings still with them and growling stomachs quieted by nutritious food  Sadly, they have no place to take the families for which they are responsible where the people in charge love and care - where staff has "been there, done, that" and will keep them safe as they help them climb out of the abyss that has kept them captive to homelessness - whether it be bad decisions, drug/alcohol addiction, language barrier, lack of the ability to read and write.  MAMA T'S IS SUCH A SAFE HAVEN - a place where we care - where those who want to help themselves are given the opportunity and the help they need to become independent, productive members of society, their self esteem earned as they become capable of caring for themselves and their families.  MAMA T'S - A HAND UP, NOT A HAND OUT.
