Volunteer - Be Part of Our Team
Volunteers are ultimately a vital part of our endeavor at the shelter. Mama T’s has opportunities for one-time volunteers as well as more committed volunteers who are free to regularly give of their time. You will impact people lives in a profound and powerful way.
You may call Tania at the Braly, Braly, Speed & Morris law office 580-436-0871. Ask her to add you the Volunteer list, along with your contact information. You may specify abilities that you believe will be of value at the shelter or areas in which you would like to serve. For example, would you like to help the children with reading and manners; can you watch the children as they utilize the playground; would you like to help with cooking or serving meals; would you like to care for the landscaping; do you have art and crafts that you can teach our guests for their enjoyment and to enable them to make a bit of extra money? There are many avenues available.
Flea Market
LOCATED AT 12TH STREET AND TOWNSEND. The market is open from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
There you will find fresh fruits and vegetables, along with plants for your garden and baked goods from local folks. Mama T’s offers vegetable and herb plants as well as delicious goodies baked by members of the Mama T’s Board of Directors. Our prices are quite reasonable; however, please know that WE ARE HAPPY TO ACCEPT DONATIONS. All proceeds go to Mama T’s B & B and are used to buy necessities such as paper goods, coffee, and non-prescription items for our medicine cart.
We are also happy to assist you in setting up appointments to tour the shelter and see for yourself what we are doing to assist our guests as they work toward becoming independent, productive members of our community.

MaMa T's has opportunities for one-time volunteers as well as more committed volunteers. Our volunteers can have specific duties that create opportunities for them to serve the Lord alongside the shelter's staff. An example could be teaching classes, helping with Chapel, or just spending time with our clients.

Even a small, but regular, monthly contribution will enable Mama T’s to not only keep the shelter open, clean and hospitable but will enable us to hire adequate staff and provide the programs and support that our guests need on their way to new lives.

HONOR AND MEMORIAL GIVING
Your gift in memory, or in honor, of a loved one, friend or special occasion, is not only a thoughtful way to pay tribute to someone special but also a wonderful way to help meet the needs of those less fortunate in your community.
A contribution may be given in lieu of flowers for a loved one who has passed or to honor special occasions such as anniversaries, weddings, birthdays and graduations.
When you give an honor or memorial gift, a card will be sent to the designated family or individual letting them know of your gift.

Planned giving is a way you can provide a future gift from your estate to Mama T’s. Planned giving is not meant to replace, but rather to complement, a donor’s current giving plan to MaMa T’s.
