If you have followed Mama T’s since it was birthed, you know the “shelter” was inspired by the Lord’s love for us coupled with our love for Him and our fellow human brothers and sisters. The words of a favorite hymn, “We are Many Parts” by Marty Haugen are appropriate. “We are many parts. We are all one body, and the gifts we have, we are given to share. May the spirit of love, make us one in deed. One the love that we share; one our hope in despair; one the cross that we bear. God of all, we look to you. We would be your servants true. Let us be Your love for all the world.”

Mama T’s provides emergency shelter services to a diverse population. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability (as long as they do not require specialized equipment), or age. Exceptions: Youth under 18 years of age, not accompanied by a parent or guardian; individuals who have a history of violent or sexual offenses or who threaten violence against shelter property, Staff, Volunteers or Guests will not be permitted on the premises.
